Go to the CRUD Generator

I'm pleased to announce that I've developed a Bootstrap CRUD application generator. Tired of manually building forms for basic SQL events? Use my tool to generate CRUD pages for your tables.

A painless way to create PHP/MySQL/Bootstrap CRUD apps

Generate a basic Bootstrap-themed CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) application based on your MySQL SELECT, UPDATE, or CREATE query.

Final Verdict: W3TC Plugin was rendering cached RSS feeds as text/html, which broke most RSS readers. Disable W3TC until it's patched.

Well, this is annoying, I have scripts that use Simplepie to pull RSS information from our network of Wordpress sites. Unfortunately, this script no longer works since updating to Wordpress 4.3

According to a post in the help forums, W3TC may be the issue. Going to try disabling that now.

There are lots of basic guides to getting around Wordpress's infamous WSOD (White Screen of Death). When you navigate to your Wordpress site and it simply shows a white screen, get ready to debug!

I had some growing pains switching from Rackspace to NearlyFreeSpeech today. I needed to port four Wordpress sites and a Drupal installation. I encountered quite a few stumbling blocks along the way, mostly due to the way NearlyFreeSpeech configures their permissions.

To get new Wordpress installations working on NearlyFreeSpeech:

SSH into your server with Putty. You will be dropped in /home/public by default. Wordpress files need to belong to the "web" group. Use the following commands

This started because I logged into my computer at 8:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 21, 2015.

I started setting up our daily emails and needed a good quote for SITE1's email.

I went to the site - it was down. That's weird. I was getting a 500 Internal Server Error - big problem.

The Outreach theme (which SITE1 uses) relies on a file called header.php.

LAMP Stack - PHP Files Only Downloading From Apache

Problem: All links that led to .php files were just being downloaded. This happened after I ran into apache2 issues with Rackspace's Monitoring Agent and my email generator.

After tearing my hair out, here's the solution I arrived at.

sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-php5
sudo a2enmod php5
